Here is a picture of Edgar Allan Poe's reburial celebration on November 17, 1875 at Westminster graveyard. Poe was originally buried elsewhere on the grounds, in an unmarked grave. In 1865, a collection was started for a new monument to honor Poe. Money came from students, friends, and private donations. By 1875 sufficient funds had been collected and the monument was erected.
