"He is very mysterious and most definitly creepy. He is not sane but that's what makes his stories and poems so amazing. My favorite of his is the Raven just because of the way it is read in the audio version."

"Edgar Allan Poe is such a brilliant writer all because he started the modern detective book theme and was one of the first that explored the horror and psychological horror genre. For example, "The Tell-Tale Heart" is my favorite for the latter reason."

Although he was sent to school with only 1/3 of the funds he needed and was forced to drop out after less than a year of college he still pursued his career to become a great poet. After these many years of being a poet he passed away from an unknown cause and then a rival of his made a biography to bring him down. Instead his sales went skyrocketing"

"Edgar Allen Poe is a very brave young man. His parents died and then was put into a different family while splitting up from her brother and sister. He also had to go through the death of a wife while having a lot of financial problems. He also was kicked out of the U.S. Military Academy. Even though he had to go through all of this, he still was strong and pursued his career as a poet."
