"I love how Poe is able to woo the world with his works and his words but is only truly appreciated after his time has passed. Then again who really is? I especially love how he was able to sum up the everyday pain of trying to remember something having it within grasp and then just barely missing the chance to seize the thought or memory. A true pain to be sure."

"My two favorite are Annabell Lee and the Raven because they are both so weird and hard to follow but once you decode it and understand the message of loss, grief, and not letting go, it's beautifully written. It has that Tim Burton feel or atmosphere to it that I love and appreciate about both the poems."

That's why "The tell-tale heart" is my favorite poem because i love how I feel like I'm seeing a psychopaths perspective and how thrilling the story is and how strange the narrator thinks. Poe is a great poet and writer. As an author, he knew how to keep the readers attention and really thought how he wanted to make them feel while reading his stories."
