"Edgar Allen Poe was a very intelligent and observant author. He went through a lot of hard times, but through it all, he wrote. My favorite piece of literature that he created is "The Raven". It is a good thing that we have authors like Edgar because I am sure many people have benefited from the messages in his literature."

"I think that Edgar Allan Poe was awesome. He shows how it is important to keep persevering through life even when times get tough. His early life and even early adulthood was really tough, but he kept at it and now is famous. My favorite poem of his is "To The River" because it just symbolizes true love. It shows how love can come in many forms, and how it is something that it everywhere. Overall, I think that Edgar Allan Poe was an interesting and amazing person throughout his lifetime."
