"Although all the stories of Poe's we have read in class are all morbid, I'll have to admit... Edgar A. Poe was a great writer, and really tested the reader's psychological stand point. :)"
REPLY from Robert Giordano:
Not all of his stories are morbid though. I don't know why they only teach the morbid ones in most schools. Check the summaries page to find other stories.

REPLY from Robert Giordano:
"Ah how shameless -- the way these mortals blame the gods. From us alone they say come all their miseries yes but they themselves with their own reckless ways compound their pains beyond their proper share."

"My favorite written by Poe would be Tale Tale Heart. He seems like he had a really hard life, but somehow he still never stopped writing. So many people go through so much and stop, but Poe never let it bring him down for too long. He might have been depressed and maybe mad, but he was pretty good at trying to be happy at least."
