"Hello! I am a high school student as well as a fan of strange and macabre literature (especially of Poe). I came across this website today and am surprised I haven't before. Everything is beautifully organized and designed. I am especially a fan of the timeline- very fascinating to see his life put into context with other historical events. Only negative of this site is how difficult it becomes to read the white-on-black text after awhile. Overall, this site is very educational and easy to spend lots of time on. I would read Poe all day if I could. Great work, keep it up!"
REPLY from Robert Giordano:
Thanks for the compliments!! If you ever want to read any of the text with a white background and black text, just click the "Print Version". For example, Here's the print version of The Raven.

"My favorite poem written by Edgar Allen Poe has to be The Raven. Ever since I first read it, it just seemed to have stuck with me. The ravens that live outside must have got the memo because they seem to stick with me too. They have yet to start rap rap rapping on my chamber door and/or yell nevermore. I find this is mildly disappointing because having a conspiracy of ravens following me around and shouting at people instead of crawing incessantly would be very amusing. Reading this story had probably cursed me. I'm just glad the same thing didn't happen with Tell Tale Heart."
