"Poe had a hard life and was a hard working author. He started off poor but chased his dreams and ended up being a very famous author. He shows that no matter how you start you could always have a good finish. His poems and stories are also very good and he is a very talented author."

"I found his works when I was in high school and I was totally in love. I was suffering heavily with depression and anxiety, but it was nice to have something that I could relate to. I'm grateful for his works and I am trying to collect all of his works! One day I will have all of them proudly displayed on my mini library nook I'm building."

"My 8th grade english teacher is showing us some poems for the 2nd trimester, and our current poet we are learning about is Edgar Allan Poe. I haven't read all of his poems, but I can assume that they are all pretty spooky. Therefore, I can't say which is my favorite."
