"Poe's stories are honestly really interesting. I always just thought of him as another author but I see that he is more than just an author. He is a poet. The words he uses are very eye catching and are very powerful. Poe is really an amazing author and poet."

Another difficult question but I might say its The Pit and the Pendulum because it is based on the true horror of the Spanish Inquisition. When I was in Europe, I visited a museum that contained many of the torture devices used during the Inquisition. Sometimes real history is more dark and twisted than anything you could make up.
